Abdo Hill Farm Glamping, Camping & Caravan Site – Shropshire

Abdo Hill Farm is a peaceful glamping, camping, and caravan site near Market Drayton in Shropshire, set in beautiful countryside and perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area. Our small, friendly site offers a relaxing rural escape for couples, small groups, and young families looking for a quiet place to unwind.

We are a licensed campsite open all year round, welcoming guests with glamping accommodation, touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents. With open countryside, scenic views, and a calm atmosphere, Abdo Hill Farm is the ideal base for a Shropshire camping holiday.

For 2026 we have a brand new toilet & shower block with washing machine & dryer with seperate men’s and women’s sections. 

To help maintain the tranquil environment our guests enjoy, we do not allow ball games or noisy activities on site. As such, the campsite is not suitable for stag or hen parties.

Camping Near Market Drayton

The campsite is located just a few minutes from the historic market town of Market Drayton, known for its traditional character, independent shops, cafés, and restaurants. Visitors can explore the town’s weekly market, local food producers, and charming high street.

Just 30 seconds’ walk from the campsite, directly opposite the entrance, you’ll find the popular Redwood Smokehouse, serving fresh, honest American-style barbecue and smoked food.

Several welcoming country pubs are also located nearby, many offering great food. The Red Lion is well known for its home-cooked meals, and The Castle at Bletchley is another favourite with visitors and locals alike.

Walking, Cycling & Exploring Shropshire

Abdo Hill Farm is ideally located for walking and cycling in Shropshire. A popular local walk is up The Wrekin, one of Shropshire’s most famous hills, where on a clear day you can see across five counties.

For a gentler day out, enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Shropshire Union Canal, or visit Norbury Junction, a picturesque canal hub where you can watch traditional narrowboats passing through the locks.

Luxury Glamping Pods

Our luxury glamping pods are totally insulated and come with electric/oil heading systems, ceiling fan, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle  and TV/DVD.

You will need to bring your own bedding, kitchenware and toiletries.

The glamping pods are suitable for two adults or 2 adults and two children under 12 years.
